Before you call anyone
Artificial Turf Canada is a referral service, not an installer. We explain how turf is built and what it costs, then put you in touch with a local company that does the work.
Questions people ask
Is Artificial Turf Canada a turf company?
No. We are a free referral service. We don’t make, stock or install turf. We pass your request to one local installer or supplier who does that kind of job in your area; they measure, quote and do the work, and you deal with them directly.
How much does artificial turf cost in Ontario?
Published Ontario installed prices run $5–$22 per sq ft, and most backyards land at $10–$20 per sq ft, before HST. Pet turf and putting greens cost more. The cost guide lists every price and where it comes from.
Does artificial grass survive an Ontario winter?
Yes, if the base is right. A compacted gravel base that drains is what keeps it flat through freeze-thaw. Snow can stay on it or be cleared with a plastic shovel or a leaf blower; skip metal blades and sharp ice-melt that can scrape the fibres.
Which areas do you cover?
Toronto and the GTA (Mississauga, Brampton, Vaughan, Markham, Richmond Hill, Oakville, Burlington, Milton and Durham), Hamilton and Niagara, Kitchener-Waterloo, Cambridge and Guelph, London, Windsor, Barrie, Ottawa and Kingston. Elsewhere in Ontario, send the request anyway and we’ll say if we can help.
Can I just buy turf and install it myself?
Yes. Pick “Turf rolls or supply” on the request form and we’ll pass it to a supplier. The roll and infill calculators tell you how much to order, and the installation guide covers the base, seams and edges.
