How it works

How Artificial Turf Canada works

One short form, one local installer, no cost to you.

1. You send one request

Use the request form. Tell us the job (a lawn, pet turf, a putting green, a balcony, a playground, a sports surface, turf supply or a repair), the city and when you'd like it done. A few details help the installer arrive prepared: the rough area, what's there now, the budget, and anything that affects access like a narrow gate or stairs.

2. We match it to a local installer

We send your request to one installer or supplier who works your area and does that kind of work. A daycare playground goes to someone who builds playground surfacing with documented fall heights; a cricket pitch to someone who has built cricket surfaces; a balcony to someone who does condo work. We don't blast your details to a list of companies.

3. The installer contacts you

They call or email to talk it through and book a site measure. You deal with them directly from there: the price, the turf, the schedule, payment and the warranty.

Getting a good quote

  • Ask for the exact turf product by name, with its pile height, face weight and warranty.
  • Ask how deep the base will be, what stone, and how it will drain.
  • Ask what infill, and how much per square foot.
  • Ask what's included: excavation, disposal, edging, weed barrier, seams, infill and clean-up.
  • Ask about the workmanship warranty on seams, edges and the base, separate from the turf maker's.

What it costs

Nothing for you. Installers pay us for introductions. Prices are set by the installer; the ranges on this site come from published Ontario prices, not a markup.

Before anyone digs

Utility locates through the Ontario Dig Authority (formerly Ontario One Call) are free and required before excavation. A good installer books them; if you're doing your own prep, book them yourself. See the Ontario turf rules guide.

Your information

We share your request only with the installer we match it to, and only to answer it. See the privacy policy.
